United MileagePlus (Consolidated) - united.com seems faster today

It looks like they are now using akamai.

What's faster? Everything seems the same to me. Still takes several seconds to load the homepage while the server goes off and fetches my account data.

I don't see any difference in revenue ticket searching either.

False alarm :) I mistakenly compared united.com to www.united.com 2 days later. I didn't realize united.com was just a redirect to www.united.com:

Maybe it's because all their customers have left for other airlines? (Just booked a trip on AA using my competitive status match)

Checking my ALL itineraries can take from 10 minutes to over an hour depending how many people in this house are piled on our router.
