Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Flying BA First - Can I access CX F Lounge?

Hi all,

I will be flying BA First Class; I was wondering if I could use CX First Class lounge in HKG, regardless of OW status? If so, can I use the Cabanas there or are they reserved only for CX pax?

You can access the first class lounge, but the cabanas are currently under construction, and will be till December if I remember correctly.

You can, but as you'll see in other current threads the closest CX F lounge to the BA departure gates is under renovation. BA will point you to the QF F lounge which is perfectly nice (and at that time of the evening likely to be a bit less crowded than the CX business / roped off F area).

There are no cabanas right now. The entire Wing F lounge (the only lounge where the Cabanas are) is closed for renovation until early next year.

I visited the BAQF F class lounge recently, other than the Champagne all other aspects are better in the CX J class Wing so the OP might want to track down to gate 2 and check out the lounge of they have time

Yes, you can.

The Wing First Class lounge is closed for renovation, but there is a temporary First Class seating area within the newly reopened and refurbished Business Class part of the lounge.

The Pier First Class lounge is open (but a fair walk from the BA gates).

At the risk of being accused of necro-posting, the answer is yes you can use the cabanas in the Wing F lounge: I am writing this from the tub right now while I await the BA26. When I quizzed the lounge staff about cabana use, their answer was very straightforward: while in the F lounge you can use all the facilities on offer.

as has been posted many places before, CX lounge agents are nice. know the rules and do not make a big deal out of who gets to access what....

this is not T5.
