I only wish the last sentence inferred a few more front cabin seat possibilities. If I receive up to 50% bonus on bought miles, that suddenly sounds a little less attractive when I realise I am only going to be offered seats at double the standard tarriff. What a clever business.

At least up to now award availability with AFKL seems to be comparably ok, but you can't expect to have availability whenever and everywhere you want to fly. I am not sure though if this is going to change (in the negative direction).

Basically the rate is 1.66 cents/mile when buying in bulk. Is that worth it? Perhaps in some cases. I can imagine that three promo TATL business class roundtrip awards is easily worth the 2500 euros that it would cost to purchase the miles..
