I have moved your post from MilesBuzz! to the separate Iberia forum. I cannot open the link, perhaps because I do not have an Iberia account. However, it is common for airlines to sell points, and to offer a discount during a promotional period. It is seldom good value to buy points unless you need a small amount to top up your account to qualify for an award.

Clicking on your link takes me to the Iberia site but it says "Restricted Access", so looks like it is targetted.

I got the email too and it says that it is targetted. If you are targetted, just log in with your IB credentials and the promotions will be there under "my promotions".
I must say that the T and Cs are very succinct. They talk of "purchasing your tickets" at iberia.com, which seems to me to suggest that it is flights only and not other purchases such as hotels.
Also, it says that tickets have to be purchased by 212 August but says nothing of when they are supposed to be flown. Yet it says that the bonus avios would post between June 1st and October 15, 2012. I do wonder whether the bonus avios are given when you book now for a flight in, say, next January.

I don't really need any flights or hotels ATM, but did wonder of I booked the cheapest flight I could find which was one in Spain, for 32 euros, would this be a good deal in return for 1800 miles, and could I just convert these into 1800 avios in my household avios account.

I'd say it is NOT good value - unless you need them reasonaby quickly to topup for an award, but note the delay in posting them to your account. The value of a mile (Avios) is a personal one for each person, depending upon what value we can get out of them. Over in the British Airways section of FT you will find very few people making a case for any value above of 0.01 GBP (i.e. above a penny), and some people putting lower values on them. [Personally I'd put a minimum value on them of 0.75p and a maximum of 1.1p or 1.2p. But it is based upon what value YOU can get out of them.]
32 EUR is currently 25.33 GBP, so you would be paying over 1.4p each for them. This is poor value for buying. However, if you need to round up for awards, paying over their value can occasionally make sense, but not as part of ongoing ballance building.
Hope that makes sense, always know (work out) the value of a mile to you personally, people are different when/how/where they travel is different.

To answer your other question above moving them to a Family account, is this a Avios.com family account? Or a British Airways Executive Club houehold account? - they are very different beasts in how they behave. The bottom line is Avios can be moved, but it can vary how easy it is with family accounts.
[If you want I can explain the differences, but you might know them.]
For individual (non-family/household) accounts in each of the three schemes, it is quite straight forward moving Avios from scheme to scheme.

Thanks for the reply
I have a household avios account and we all have individual baec accounts. I've recently transferred all my Tesco vouchers into an avios household account and I'm now short 5k to reach 250k which I need for 2 return LHR to LAS going out F and coming back Business. I still have a few Tesco vouchers left and have been trying to cost my avios according to that. So I guess it is bad value.
I'm still a newbie to all this lol

I agree with David-A. The maths don't work unless you really need the miles as a top-up.

They did this in february as well but it was 1000 Avios then (see below),
I bought a single LHR-BCN with BA and it was exactly the same price as on BA.COM.
A fantastic deal, unfortunately it does indeed seem to be targeted,
for the february offer it was on the front page and anyone could register.
If I use the link from the first post I can see the offer when I'm logged in
but I can't see anyway to register.
Both me and my wife received this. I was going to purchase tickets anyway, so will buy from both accounts to receive double bonus. The only problem is it's a codeshare flight and does not earn avios, I hope I'll get the bonus anyway.

Well ofcourse it would be different if you NEEDED a ticket, but Angelamc made clear they did not need any tickets.
They asked about the idea of 1800 Avios for a throw away cost of 32 EUR, that was the question asked, that was the question answered.
To quote you, "Simples" (although I think that might out of fashion now).

But even with a full flex ticket, Iberia charges 30 Euros in general to refund it. Or am I missing something?

And there's a promotion with Iberia which multiplicates the avios by two making a minimum of 1000 extra avios.
That gives a minimum of 2800 avios for any flight taken with Iberia, not bad at all.
