Chicago - Ticket sales must be getting tough for the Cubs

Things must be getting a little rough for the Chicago Cubs. They are now discounting certain tickets for certain games on a Groupon like sight.

If I start trolling for referrals (no, I am not here), I can make more on the seats than the Cubs do.

The only thing I can remember this bad is the New Jersey Nets about 2 years ago with their free tickets on Ticketmaster (you still paid Ticketmaster service charges though).

Not surprising. Their so bad this year plus fans are so p*ssed at the owners that people don't want to go to the games.

I don't think these come directly from Cubs, and in any case, $20 per unknown Infield Terrace seat is more expensive than what one can get on StubHub (http://www.stubhub.com/chicago-cubs-tickets/cubs-vs-brewers-8-28-2012-2056171/). ;)

MUAHAH

I'm going to the Pittsburgh/Cubs coming on Monday Night.

I don't even like baseball but visiting Wrigley for 30 bucks is worth it :)

$30? I hope you got front row for that price...or four tix. You could probably scalp one for $5. :p
