Korean Air Skypass - JFK-NRT: DL's 744 Business Elite or KE's A388's Prestige

Hi Folks,

Looking to redeem Skymiles for a trip to NRT, with a stopover & open jaw in HKG.

I'm leaning towards KE's option as it'll be my first time on the A388 and the service will be better. Also, since I'll be traveling in KE's non-blackout dates, it'll come in at the Saver level.

The only thing that's holding me back from fully committing to KE is the new Business Elite's seems like a better hard product than KE's new Prestige seats.

Any comments from those that have flown both?

You might have to pay little more tax on KE product.

I have not flown KE's new prestige seat, but from what I have heard (directly from friends) it is better than the "new" Business Elite seat on DL--which I have flown.

The DL product is fine--I've flown it several times--but I wouldn't put it on par with any Asia based carrier.
