Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Asiamiles mobile membership card
Do any of you not carry around ur am card and use the card in the app instead? How iften do they get rejected?
I was at pizza express for lunch n they told me they dont accept punch in numbers anymore. Is that guy bluffing cuz theres wine, salad, and asianiles at stake now? Needless to say i left n went for a 40 bucks lunch instead

I carry the original MPO card in my travel wallet and a (tacky) colour copy in my briefcase card holder for local use.
Manzo was able to credit based on the tacky colour copy when we ate there last month.
I've never seen anyone use the magstripe at any airport. If Pizza Express acts like this (and other merchants follow) maybe I should swap my original to my briefcase card holder and copy to my travel wallet (lose more cards from my travel wallet anyway).

I loss 1000 AM while a promotion in a ParkNshop required me to present the card to swap but I didn't bring along it even I could tell the cashier my membership No. So I keep it in my wallet now.
update: Pizza Express TST accepted my mobile app membership card (attendant said gotta show mobile card even if i know my number, but since it's just a few punch from the phone, i could care less.)
so now, maybe its time to kick some butt.

is this some sort of promotion? how can you get 1000 asiamiles? I would still complain, given that mobile app card should be a legal replacement of the real card.
