I'm seeing something that I've never seen before as an Executive Elite member. I have a reservation for a week picking up and returning at MSY airport. The rate was good at $120/week and a $35 coupon applied bringing it down to $85 ($138/AI). Well, I just looked at my reservation and the rate has gone from $120/week to over $260! The coupon is still there, but my new total is $295!
I still have my email confirmation that has my original rate, and the times, dates & confirmation number are all still the same as well. I don't know what has happened. Wondering if anyone else has had this experience.

Are you using a Contract ID that doesn't have a guaranteed base rate? I have had that happened to me when I first started renting with National in 2007 and I used one of the Contract IDs on the first page. Some of the Contract IDs have their rates updated yearly, so if the terms change, the rate will change even if you book your reservation before the change. I just stick with the plain Emerald Club ID now or if I use another one, I make sure it has the guaranteed base rate. If you already have the guaranteed base rate, I would take the reservation with me because they would have to honor it.

Yep, I just got burned by this scenario not too long ago by using one of the contract IDs on the first page.
Lesson learned for me...
