Not a great deal, but a quick way to pick up almost 4,500 MQM's.

Sample dates: Out 9/6, return 9/7 redeye. Gives you 24 hours in LA.

Mostly Thursday night into Friday. Pretty solid for a long nonstop flight with no other airlines on the route. Routing through DTW or MSP or (using 500 mile minimums) ATL doesn't yield a noticeably better CPM.

that's a very nice non-stop price, i did not realize that route had started. for awhile in the past DL had JAX-LAX n/s and it was a great flight, was sad to see it go when i was living in GNV.

DL has it listed as seasonal. I haven't gone so far as to look up when it started or ends, though, but I think it is supposed to be off in the winter.

Routing through MEM for the same price gets you an extra 28 MQM :)

How are you guys finding your MR deals? I use google flights - which lets me see visually when the price dips are set to occur for months in advance. Example: Just click on the little calendar icon to the immediate right of the return date - and voila - I can see the future. I see ATL to HNL for 678 in October. Thats good for 10K MQM's R/T

Check out the Mileage Runs Discussion forum. In short, I've been using kayak.com/explore to just visually glance and see which qualify as a good distance-per-dollar. Also, knowing a little bit about the DL system can help inform you about good segment plays, but you will need to check the fare rules to figure out the best way to do segment runs.

Unless I missed something, it looks like this deal has come to pass. Prices are now $450+ AI. (I was getting $220-ish yesterday.)
