Star Alliance - Best J class Europe-BKKView Full Version : Best J class Europe-BKK seaskybound Aug 21, 12, 12:22 pm what are the best J classes Europe to BKK on *A (and for that matter the worst...) donlind Aug 21, 12, 2:43 pm SQ is the best. LX, OZ and TG worth a look, too. cityflyer369 Aug 21, 12, 8:02 pm OZ and SQ probably don't have direct flights. I would recommend Austrian Airlines (OS) over TG. LX is said to be good, too, but I have no experience with them. more4less Aug 22, 12, 6:06 am LX I am not sure if Turkish Airlines fly on this route but very likely they do it and could be a good option depending in the final destination. cityflyer369 Aug 22, 12, 6:50 am TK is definitely great, too, and I flew BKK-Europe with them. Most people would probably rate them higher than OS. The disadvantage of flying BKK-Europe with TK is that you won't have much time for sleep, due to changing planes in IST. This is why I would prefer OS, which I find almost as good, quality-wise. (But LX might even be better, but as I said, I've never flown them.) TPJ Aug 22, 12, 7:04 am TG from CPH/ARN: they sell F as C (at least for the next few months) - double check on TG forum... Done this - fantastic! TG from FRA/CDG has fully flat seats in C... Done this - quite good. And their brand new 77W's (new - not these leased from 9W) have the same design in C as LX - IIRC these will be used on BRU/MXP and later on CPH flights (thus good bye F in the price of C). TK is great - as long as you do not want to sleep but enjoy the service - it will take them at least 2-3 hours to serve the meal - but it is worth to try. sim510 Aug 22, 12, 3:40 pm Looking forward to doing TG BKK-FRA on A380 in first class in early Jan on a FF ticket. |
