Hi folks,

I can't find any updated info on fare rules and luggage allowance for visit Europe Pass tickets.

Luggage allowance will be the same as in the selling airline? (I think RTW ticket works that way right?) or whatever the operating airline will have independently of OW status?

Any idea of penalties for changes and cancellations?

Cheers.

I believe it will be issued as a separate TKT, so the baggage allowance should depend on the operating carrier(s) with the MSC rule if with connections.

The travel pass' baggage allowance would be the same as the intercontinental ticket's. So if its just a point to point ticket then the baggage would be the same as that.. ie HKG-FRA-HKG return in economy would be just 20kg. So the travel pass' allowance would be the same.

But if its a RTW , then the piece would apply.. HOWEVER remember that BA have their own rules, ie 1 piece at 23kg each for all routes. So check with the carriers.

May I know where you get this information from, especially given that it is issued on a separate TKT?

A "Visit pass" needs to be issued in Conjunction with an international ticket. So there will always be intercontinental tickets associated with it.

Visit Europe - oneworld (http://www.oneworld.com/flights/single-continent-fares/visit-europe/)
This fare must be booked before departure from country of origin, and in conjunction with return travel to/via Europe on a oneworld member airline.

Yes of course I know that, but I believe it is different from saying the bag allowance on the int'l TKT will apply to the visit pass.
