My cousin and I will be flying the same day to LHR to visit my aunt and uncle to celebrate their 50th anniversary. I am flying from DFW to LHR, my cousin from MIA to LHR on AA. My cousin and I need to buy two bottles, we are not sure which of these bottles are available at duty free in either airport and as we are flying the same day, we want to be certain we both make the purchases correctly. The bottles we need are:-

Patron Anejo or Patron Respardo (if Patron isn't available we will consider Don Juilo Tequilas).

Jack Daniels Single Barrel Silver Select.

Could FTers who frequently travel via DFW please let me know which of these products are availabe from duty free and if anybody has information on prices that would be great.

Thank you.

It would probably be easier just to call them.

If you are starting at DFW, you may be better off picking up something from one of the big liquor megastores in the area like Total Wine, Specs, Big Daddy's, etc. Total Wine and Specs post prices online (and Total Wine is known for selling some things below cost...per a friend of mine that works for a competitor).

Anybody?????????

Sorry, I'm *A flyer, so no duty free in my terminal ;)

But having flown from many US airports, I have never found the saving to be all that, if anything. IAH in particular does not have competetive prices, so I doubt DFW to be better. And last time I had an int'l connection in MIA it was so late EVERYTHING was closed :(
