Avis - Fleet Selection / Service at SNA

Hi All

I will be renting there this Friday evening and it's been a few years since I was at that airport. As a PC member - booked a Standard SUV (Ford Edge or similar). What are upgrade chances? car choices? etc.

I've had good luck at SNA getting upgrades. Since there isn't a board you always have to speak with the desk staff to get your car assigned, which I use as an opportunity to kindly ask what they're putting me in.

What vehicle are you looking for? A larger SUV? I've had much better luck asking for a specific vehicle vs. an 'upgrade'.

With the smaller fleet size at SNA, I always make a bee line to Avis to get in front of the rest of my flight, which I found to help as well.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. I carry on so and my upgrade cleared already so an easy and quick exit will be very possible.

As far as an upgrade - it doesn't matter although preferably not too a larger SUV as I am one person. Maybe a cool car, Mini-cooper, something fun...

If your definition of fun is similar to mine- I would ask if they could put you in either a convertible: Mitsu Eclipse, Mustang or V8: Camaro SS, Challenger.
