At 200 rupees a kg, it's actually 100 kgs overweight. Unless they charged him separately for both sectors. Then it's 50 kgs.

Jet management has sent out a message to all its managers/damagers and through them to all staff. The target is to increase the per passenger earning from $8 to $12.

All this tanta-baaji with extra charges and premium meals etc is in pursuit of the above goal.

Well whatever it takes to survive. Their cash-flow situation is precarious.
