I was just curious if AS offers any additional benefits beyond 75k miles? Some airlines offer club memberships or discounts etc, any such thing on AS?

I just hit 96k for this year so I wondered if anything special would happen in a couple of weeks.

Chris.

Given that 75K is fairly new I would be surprised if there is anything beyond that. But do let us know!

I note that you're a million miler, is it reasonable to assume that gets you something? Seeing as how it's tracked on the web site...

Edit - oops, never mind, life time status it is, should have searched first!

Nothing which is why I put my next 100K+ into another alliance. The million mile status is only lifetime MVPG so while you don't have to fly to maintain, lifetimers would still be a status level below the annual 75K

In december 2010 I was at 113k and sat next to a guy SEA-BOS who was at 150k just on AS. I asked if they'd given him anything extra for doubling 75k and he said nope. There might be case by case rewarding of really high rollers, but I think you'd have to be rollin' pretty high.

Ahh well, good to know. Doent make a big difference, the miles will get my family to HI a couple of times and I still prefer AS to any other domestic carrier. :)

At ~110K so far...only additional thing the extra flying has got me is an extra 2" on my waistline and tight quads.
