Marriott Rewards (including Ritz-Carlton) - Rewards certificate

I have a Visa rewards one year universality certificate that expired on Nov 23, but can I use the certificate to book a hotel on DEC 13?

No, unfortunately it cannot be extended past the expiration date.

Send an email to Marriott Rewards and ask them if it can be extended. They extended mine. I think it was for 6 additional months.
