Will be on Austrian airline (Tryolean Air) from Vienna to CDG in the mid morning. I have 1 hour 15 minutes to transfer to AF 66 from CDG to LAX. I can run but is that enough time for connection?

Tight but feasible. I assume you are on a single ticket and will be checked-in all through to LAX in VIE ?

Yes, I will be on one single ticket. Arrival into CDG at 9:30 A.M

Do I need to go through Customs and Immigration PLUS check in security at CDG?

Is it walkable ( or runnable ?) from 2D to 2 E?

You will clear immigration (not customs) in 2E and security when entering the boarding pier. Walking from 2D to 2E takes about 10-15mn within the terminal building. There are three boarding piers in 2E. Once you have cleared immigration, you need, in order to reach the gate:

- a 5mn walk to K gates
- a 10mn walk plus a 45s automated shuttle ride to the L gates
- a 10mn walk plus a 4mn automated shuttle ride to the M gates (including the stop at the L gates)

The shuttle runs every 2mn.

Tight but fine if your first flight is on time. Do you know what plane type you are on? Tyrolean fokkers can often be parked remotely in which case your arrival would be slowed down a bit furether. If not they will reaccommodate you on the next flight. As the flight is code-shared, it is also possible that some AF rep will meet the flight if it is late and quite a few people are making the same connection.

AF 1557 (AIRBUS 321) which is operated by Tyrolean Air From VIE to CDG ( 7:05 A.M departure, arrival at 9:15 A.M)

Do you mean that the plane may not park at a Gate thus needing to wait for a bus to take all of us to the entrance of a terminal?

Welcome to CDG ;)
Hope you make your connection.
For peace of mind and because my bad back doesn't let me run anymore, I would never consider such a short connection time at CDG.
Once again I wish you luck .

It is always possible but far less likely as you are on a 321.
