I am keeping a check on the aircraft operating CX690 SIN to HKG. Today flightradar states it being operated by B-HWH a Dragonair A330. It is normally operated by a CX 77W. Strangely it does not show it operating CX691 HKG to SIN.
Is this usual ? . Are CX currently short of aircraft?

data.flight24 suck at accuracy. in those data sheets u can get odd records such as regional aircraft and even little A320s of some Chinese airline logged doing long haul flight. other inaccuracies of this database includes a/c doing the same plane operating on the same long haul flight for two days in a row, which is impossible as the plane can't be there and back within 24 hours.
B-HWH on that SIN flight is almost certainly another one of those log glitches.

Occasionally CX metal operates for a KA flight to TPE. Don't know if this policy extends as far as SIN though.

According to the app on my mobile which has the registration and gate number for all arriving aircrafts, 691 was operated by B-HXD (343) on the 17th, and by B-HNF (773) on the 16th.

Y seats in 330/340 are okay, but those in 320/321 are too small.
