US Airways Dividend Miles - TK *G but no card - Access to BOS Club?

Hey Folks,

I have a layover in BOS and would like to access the US lounge. I let my United Club membership expire at the beginning of August as I am also Turkish Elite. Unfortunately I have yet to receive my card. This will be my first time trying to gain access both without a card, and as a non US based *G card holder. I am crediting the flight to Miles&Smiles, so it has my TK# on the BP. Is there any chance I'm getting into the lounge? Is there anything I can do to increase my chances?

Thanks!

I think you can print out a temp card on their site... not sure but I think so...

No temp card printout, but you can print out enough detail for them to look you up in the system and let you in...see my post here:

Thanks for the info RZachSmith. In the end I had two bowls of chowder at LSF and went straight to the gate. Hopefully by next time I'll just have the card.

Print out your TK account profile page ... it has your name, TK mileage number, status expiration, and a *G card image on it. It might work (it did for me at several *A lounges recently).

Some of the agents - Penny and Debbie - in the BOS club are awful. I am in the same boat as the OP - having TK *G but haven't received the card yet. Penny refused me entry even though I had a printout of my status and a printout of the Star Alliance rules stating that a card or other proof of status is required. Had to use one of my day passes in my account.

I then emailed both customer relations and the central club email address. The reply from the central club person was nuts - they said they called the BOS club and asked the BOS agent what the entry rules are. IMO that's like the FAA calling a flight attendant to ask what the exit row requirements are.

The reply from customer relations was as expected. They told me that I was welcome to use any club, and just to bring a printout of my profile that shows the status, my account number, and the expiration date. The next time through Penny wouldn't even read the email printout. So I replied to CR and asked them to contact the BOS club manager (Carol, about whom I have heard good things from the generally excellent CLT staff) and inform her of the rules. I got a call and an email from CR stating they had done so. However, methinks Carol doesn't care because the next time through I was refused entry by Debbie and had to use another day pass (running short of those). Another email went out to CR and another reply came back stating that I was free to use any club as long as I had a printout of my profile.

I have had no trouble in any other club, and am about to book on UA from BOS instead as I have also had no issue using UA clubs with my printout.
