Travel Technology - Name of Power Supply Part?

I have a power supply for a tablet computer (wall wart) that can operate on 115 or 230 volts. The part that inserts into the wall outlet is interchangeable...they are available with flat pins for American power outlets, or round pins for European power outlets.

I want to purchase another one of those parts (the European pin variety), but have no idea what they are called on eBay.

Searches for "power adapter" and "power supply adapter" haven't worked.

Any ideas?

Plug adaptor, which is also a generic name.

Unless you lost the one that came with it, isn't it easier just to use a generic plug adaptor? If not, then try to find the manufacturers part number from the device.

I believe they have different snap in's for different models but am not sure. Search for the model number of your tablet on e-bay and unless they have it in the graphic instead of the text, you should find more.

cordelli, that WalMart power supply is just like the one I received with my Acer Iconia A100 tablet...except that mine didn't have the European or UK "clip/plugs". I'm very glad you found it along with the "clip/plug" name of the interchangeable parts.

I'm not sure that interchangeable clip/plugs are restricted to Acer products, because several years ago I had some gizmo (a Blackberry, maybe) that had a very similar clip/plug arrangement.

Anyway, now I know what to watch for on eBay. I see one clip/plug listed there now, but with no photo yet.

Note that thing is not standardized at all although I have the same clip/plugs from an Asus router :)
