Probably a codeshare on LH or LX.

OP is probably looking at a code share. LH flys 343's under United flight numbers. OP, Where are you flying to/from? I would tale a LH343 over a UA 757

cant believe Im saying this but if I can get E+ confirmed Id Grab the UA 752 any day over LH in Y! better IFE and leg room!!!

the last time I flew LH in Y I stood the whole way or downed a few beers in the club so that Id knockout 1-2-3 and not realize that I have no leg room (connecting 4 hr flight)

But I give a ^^ to LHs clubs over UAs

btw I dont care for LHs C seats either

If you can snag an exit row seat, I would absolutely opt for the 343. I find the quieter, wider cabin to be much more comfortable on longhaul flights. I prefer the (generally) more professional attitude of the flight attendants on LH, but YMMV.

If it's between non E+ on LH vs E+ on UA, I would probably just do UA. Of course, it depends also on how long your connections are, when you're flying, etc.

FWIW, food and overall service on LH is going to be better, and there's no charge for beer/wine. I found the Y seating on their B744 and A340-600 to be fine (though I am not a tall man) and not really better or worse than a UA E+ seat. Unsure of the A343 but I would imagine it's the same seating as their other widebody fleet.

I'll never forget the LH FA who upon seeing my horror at being served a fish course (I had requested a gluten-free meal, and absolutely despise fish) whisked it away and quickly brought me a nice beef course from C, saying with some obvious pride that "NObody goes hungry on Lufthansa!" Heh.

Probably a codeshare on LH or LX.

I suppose there's a chance the OP is comparing SK also, in which case I'd take the 757 with E+. The SK seats are extra-tiny.

*A Gold can usually get the exit row seats in either LH or LX A330; then there is no comparison, food service is much better than on UA, drinks are complimentary, service in general is very professional. Squeezed in a middle seat, well that's another story altogether.

I would tend to say LH/LX exit > UA E+ > LH/LX Y > UA E-
