Which would you choose?

How long are your trips? The Victorinox are wider and thus have more capacity.

I don't like the monopole of the 4.0. Aesthetically, I don't like the tumi.

You offered all rollers with expansion options: If maximum capacity was the goal, I'd probably go with the 5.0. But if the capacity of the B&R is enough it's probably the most useful expanded (the others will all tip over) and probably has the best fit & finish.

But I don't know what I'd be looking for that would leave me considering only those 4 options.

This would be for trips of, at most, 5 days.

I came to these options because: I do not want anything with four wheels, I want to make sure the bag will fit onboard, expansion space if needed, good quality/reputation, will accommodate one or two sport coats or suits.

Briggs has the best warranty, I'd go with it.

If you are cool with the external handle on the briggs. Many are not.

Ended up getting the previous year's model of the Briggs bag (with the zipper expansion). I really love the build of this bag.

what did you like/not like about the new U122CX? I am trying to see if I want to upgrade from the current one-touch system. It seems lighter for sure....

The deciding factor for me was the price.

I spoke to B&R to find out if the CX system was the only difference. They told me that they also changed the design of the extending handle and that the front feet were also slightly redesigned.

I didn't feel these differences were worth the extra money. I am very happy with the bag I purchased. Now I just have to learn to pack better.

Congrats on your purchase. Don't worry about the packing problem. Till and others are experts in this field.

I guess no one is really gushing over the new CX system. It seemed nice on the video.

Perhaps I should wait until Thanksgiving for a sale.

I'd have gone with the B&R too. Best built, and I like the looks (generally) too.
