Some do, most don't. If you don't book one with Neverlost, odds are you won't get out for free, but you might.

Most PCARs from what I understand don't have built-in satnav, and some have NeverLost. If you book a car with NeverLost you will get it, either in its own form or in the form of a built-in satnav, but don't expect it to be refunded. I once booked a FCAR and was upgraded () to a Crown Vic that happened to have NL.

The LaCrosse I have this week from SAN is classed as G and has factory navi. But this is one of maybe a handful of times that I've seen an OEM navigation system in a non-specialty Hertz rental...
I'd say you have a better (but still, very small) chance that you'll get a car with Neverlost for free instead.

what i really ment was Neverlost is secured to the cars isnt it? it cant be removed just cos somjeone hasnt booked neverlost with their car, so i was asking if most of the pcars have neverlost already in as it cant be removed, so if i dont pay for neverlost what they gonna do as they cant remove it from car.

A certain percentage of vehicles have NL. If you get upgraded into a vehicle with NL, you shouldn't be paying for it unless otherwise requested.
If the vehicle has factory-installed satnav, just power off the NL.

NeverLost cannot be removed from the car (at least not by the renter). Nor will Hertz remove it if it's there -- it's not easy and takes quite some time (lots of wires, etc. to deal with). A number of cars in the fleet have both built-in satnav and a NL device.

It can not be removed, and they will not disable it for the rental, so if it's there, it's there.
If you don't pay for it, chances are they will just give you a car without it.

FWIW last night when I picked up my car (originally offered a Camry without NL), I asked for an Impala and first he gave me one with NL (had not requested it), but then said there was a "problem" and switched me to a different one without it.
