Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - help, lh missed segment

i'm on an award ticket with the return legs on thursday bru-fra in j fra-tlv in f. It turns out i'm going to be in fra earlier and so id like to skip the bru-fra segment, and just carry on with fra-tlv. The csr at m&m said my ticket would be cancelled if i did that.... Is there any way to pull it off?? I really need to be in fra earlier and i'm not sure how to do this thanks

Unfortunately I think you're out of luck.

M&M needs to reissue the ticket and modify the return leg. Call again. Missing the flight is not an option, every remaining segment will auto cancel.

I believe it is possible to remove one (short connector) segment from an award ticket for the regular change fee. Not sure if this is still possible or not.
Best to call and asked to have the ticket changed (for a fee). You would need to pay the change fee. Otherwise your remaining flight reservations will automatically cancel, but the ticket wil still be valid for the original routing for a year from issuing.
If you can use this ticket later you could date change this ticket and get a new ticket for FRA-TLV.

It is usually not possible, however I did that once. I omitted a feeder flight in the US to ORD where I took the rest of my return flight to Germany, so they effectively made it an open-jaw. I asked nicely and it was sent to the "Kulanzabteilung" which agreed to do that. But then I am a SEN which probably helped. I doubt they do that if you have no status.
