Even if you manage to check your bags earlier or get through security after OLCI the lounge will not be open. cheers Too much travel Aug 14, 12, 8:55 pm Though if you're Oneworld Sapphire/Emerald, a potential workaround is to go to the BA lounge until the CX one opens. The two BA flights ex-SFO are at 5pm and 7pm. Presumably the BA lounge is only open from about 2pm until 7pm. CX's flights, by contrast, leave around noon and midnight. CX's flights, by contrast, leave around noon and midnight. You're right, though it depends on the time of year. On the winter timetable, the later BA flight goes off closer to 8pm, and the CX flight goes off before midnight so one can lounge-hop. If the OP is talking about the morning CX flight, then perhaps the JAL lounge might be an option. cxfan1960 Aug 15, 12, 9:45 am Three hours before flight time. If the OP is talking about the morning CX flight, then perhaps the JAL lounge might be an option. Unless recently changed, BA would only allow access if OP has OW-SA/EM status. The SFO BA lounge is usually crowded anyway. I would suggest OP not to go to the airport too early. e39ng Aug 15, 12, 5:27 pm JL001 leaves at 1925. So I doubt their lounge will be open in the morning. goingbananas Aug 16, 12, 4:47 pm Four hours before departure. Thanks....this is good to know...so I can catch the early LAX-SFO flight without worrying too much about the time to head over from the Admirals club (after 1 hour) to the CX lounge. |
