GREAT news for Chicagoans and QR fans! Qatar has announced that it will be launching ORD-DOH starting April 2013 on a 777-300ER. Here's the link:

I wonder if the planes will have the updated version of Oryx IFE as this will be a LONG 15 hour flight.

You had better believe it! :) We will likely use the 777-300ER, which features our best IFE system available right now. We look forward to welcoming Chicagoans onboard! As a native of Chicago, I personally could not be more excited about this new addition to our global network.
