U.K. and Ireland - Heathrow area nightlife??

Have an overnight layover in Heathrow on a Wednesday. I have stayed in central London many, many times before and really have no desire to go in this time. Can anyone suggest a great spot to go for food / drink and atmosphere on a Wednesday night near Heathrow?

I'd go to Windsor.

Plenty of good pubs and nice restaurants to choose from, good to wander around of an evening and easy to get to on the bus from LHR.

Thanks Vidic! There's a lot of info on that site :) If anyone has any anecdotal suggestions, especially for a Wednesday night, please let me know! + / - 15 kms from Heathrow.

Had a good time. Food was excellent. Bigger then it looks, with lots of friendly people!
