Etihad Airways Etihad Guest - DNS Error

Hello,

Looking to book travels from Qatar through Abu Dhabi onward to MLE and am attempting to research options.

I can't get the Ethiad website to actually work to book a ticket.

The home page loads. When I attempt to enter ticket information, I either get a variety of errors:

1. Service Unavailable - DNS failure

The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try again later.

2. An error occurred while processing your request.

Have cleared the cache and attempted to change to a global website but the same result.

Is there a hidden work around that I don't know about? This condition has existed for about 1 week so far.

I'm operating a Mac.

I have always found the EY website to be extremely flakey.

If you are researching options, then try using http://matrix.itasoftware.com or your preferred online travel booking tool, restricting the airline to just EY if you are only interested in EY itineraries/prices.

If you want to buy a ticket, then just use your preferred online travel booking tool or a travel agent.

So to answer my own question, in case anyone else had the same problem, I was never able to find a work around using the main Ethiad Website and my Mac Computer.

The workaround ended up being finding a PC with Windows and booking from there.
