40000 feet. Somewhere over Idaho. Flying home from vacation in Central Mexico. 4.5 hours nonstop compared to about 12 hours w/ layovers on commercial. We almost had to stop in SLC to refuel and clear customs but we got flyover permission to go straight into Boeing .
Really nice interior but the cabin is narrow and a bit claustrophobic. My favorite part is exploring all the drawers with Dean & Deluca candy tins and savory snacks....tons of booze. (I don't drink....so that perk is waste on me).
Beginning our decent..........
Great! Now how much! And where's the pics! :)

You find the Citation X "cramped?" How many people did you try to jam in there? I'm 6'4'' and I don't feel at all claustrophobic in the X. Love that plane.

Flights under 5 hours yes. TATL or longer, give me commercial F or give me a BBJ or better.

I'd still take a TATL in a big Gulfstream (V or 500 or whatever they call them these days) over a J or F seat on a 747,777, or 787.
Can go to an airport much closer to home. No security. No checking in. No messing around with the riff raff. etc. etc. etc.

Tough call on the TATL, could go either way depending on flight times and how close the nearest airport you can set down at is. The whole check-in process is pretty painless when flying F.

Which in my case usually means to survive the CEOs choice of IFE. would prefer commercial C or F anytime for privacy!

There were five of us....and a lot of carry-on. I find the jet cabin ( this is maybe my 6th time flying this route to and from Mexico private) very narrow. The seats do not recline very far ( that I could tell) but for me it's all in the speed and convenience and not the comfort on this jet. At Boeing, Customs and Immigration come to us on board after landing...very friendly and quick. It took 15 minutes from touchdown to loading our luggage into our car.
I am only a friend and passenger on these trips.... I have no idea how much this couple pays for these flights. ( and I would never ask)
