At O'Hare right now, filled out pre check online weeks ago and have gone through the line once before. Not sure if it was a mistake or they were being nice.
This morning not accepted to pre check. Anyone know for sure hire to determine if your in the program or not. I'm a Nexus card holder for years now.

This is better asked in the Pratical Safety Issues Forum; I will move this question there (with a more descriptive thread title).

Did you include your PASS ID number associated with the Trusted Traveler account in the “Known Traveler Number’ field when booking travel?
More info here: http://www.tsa.gov/what_we_do/participation.shtm

I booked the travel some weeks ago. Maybe this is another glitch in their system, where I have to have them add then info after they rolled out the new program.

There is no way to confirm your eligibility for the program, but since you've been invited before you're clearly eligible. That doesn't mean you'll be selected every time you fly.
I fly on AA, and when I go to aa.com and look at my profile, it has my GE number and shows that I'm in the "pre-check" system--I assume other airlines have a similar system. Whether one gets selected to go through the pre-check lane is another story--supposedly a "random" event; others have reported that intl is not eligible(?)

Just flew through ORD yesterday and, as my mobile BP scanned, it beeped 3 (?) times. TDC asked if I was a trusted traveler. I said yes (although, technically, not yet - GE interview is still upcoming). He informed me where the checkpoints for PreCheck (one for UA, one for AA) are for future reference. Wasn't a big deal as there was practically no line yesterday afternoon, but I was happy that it already showed up in the system! As I'm not yet accepted into GE, no Trusted Traveler ID in my profile, but a switch must have been flipped on the UA side indicating that I used their waiver code to apply, at least.

There was no switch flipped on due to your GE application. You don't have to be member of GE to be selected for Pre-Check, but having GE greatly improves your chances. You just qualified for other reasons.
