Folks,
I recently took five flights on US: two on Y (full fare economy) fare class, one on G (discounted economy), and two on K (discounted economy). United has credited *actual* miles for premier qualifying miles and 50% bonus. Isn't there a 500-mile minimum from US for Golds to United Mileage Plus?
Interestingly, I took four flights to the same destination in April this year, all on E (discounted economy) fare class and got 500 minimum for qualifying and the 50% bonus for all the four flights
The following page doesn't state the 500-mile minimum:
https://www.united.com/CMS/en-US/marketing/custcomm/promotions/Pages/AirlinePartnerDetails.aspx?ItemId=308
Has anything changed since April?
This is significant because a 500 mile minimum can help me cross the line to retain my premier gold status in 2012.
Thanks,
-Roger
