My family and I are thinking of going to Scandinavia and hence I started my research of flights. Within the Scandinavia, SAS will most like be the choice.

Searching it on the SAS web site, it show the following lowest price for the month of July 2013:

One-Way

CPH-STO $85.98 USD
CPH-OSL $103.14 USD

OSL-CPH $94.77 USD
OSL-STO $94.32 USD

STO-OSL $100.06 USD
STO-CPH $83.35 USD

We might also thinking of going to CDG at the begining or on our way back home and here are the lowest price for July 2013:

CDG-STO $142.13 USD
CDG-OSL $122.55 USD
CDG-CPH $105.42 USD

STO-CDG $129.06 USD
OSL-CDG $103.74 USD
CPH-CDG $94.98 USD

My question is whether these consider the "everyday" price for those route? Do they have promo every now and then? If so, what will be the typical promo price?

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Prices look pretty fine to me. Promotions depend a bit on when you're planning to travel, but if you can avoid hours of the day when business travel between OSL-ARN-CPH is most active you will find decent prices even with relatively short notice.

When I have crossed the Atlantic the other direction I have several times used the possibility to make 24 hour stop-over at the point of entry before continuing to final destination, I guess you can do the same if 24 hours is enough for you in any of the cities and then the intra-scand ticket will be more or less for free for you.

Thanks for the quick respond. This will help us decide how to book our flights.

I agree that prices look decent. They are pretty much "everyday low prices".

I agree. Promo prices would probably be 499 SEK or $75 USD. With fees & taxes making up most of the lower fares I wouldn't expect to see 1 leg flights below $70 and 2 leg flights below $100.

Anything between 80-100$ would trigger 'buy' in my head. Some fares are even changable against a reasonable 200SEK. Thats what competition does to markets...

Less than 100$ for any single intra scandi leg is good enough for me, but 70$ can be had.

Don't forget to check Norwegian, especially for domestic travel in Norway, where frequent flyer miles is not allowed.

I know thats not what you asked for but between CPH-STO the train is also a nice way of traveling. Much slower of course, not much cheaper but you get to sit back and enjoy the scenery.

And since we're going OT.

Driving OSL-BGO can also be a very nice trip, though it takes 8 hours if you stop to eat.
