American Express Membership Rewards - Lounge access with Amex Plat issued in Israel

Hey guys,
I'm new here at flyerTalk, looks like a cool forum with great intel so i hope you can help..

my travelling had me thinking it's time for an upgrade and so i got a plat card.
only problem is it seems to have different benifit than the Us-Issued one..
for instance: we are entitled to free access to Us-airways club lounges. according to the web site they have 17 lounges i the US, BUT it says nothing about the lounges outside the US...
so if have a stop on the way/back in London/Spain/France - am i entitled to use any lounges there for free?
also, as i understand, to use those lounges i don't have to use an AA ticket, just show id+CC and walk in. what about Us Airways or delta or BA or any other lounge?

to be fair - we have a Priority pass card, but only 3 free entrances (like..forever) so after "burning" those - what do i do?

American Express issues cards is dozens of countries, the rewards and benefits are not standardized. You must read the documentation which accompanies your card to understand the specifics.

In general The Platinum Card provides admission to lounges operated by three USA based airlines: AA, DL and US. AA and DL require a same day ticket on a flight operated by the same airline as operates the lounge, US does not. This benefit applies only to lounges operated by these airlines, not to shared, reciprocal or arrivals lounges.

i called Amex plat customer service today - they here barely new which aireline had the lounges open to us card holders! the lady kept saying "use the priority pass card", which is stupid considering flying with these airlines makes it free to use, and the PP isn't.

Are there any "international" benefits?
I'll be happy to hear about the actual benefits (international as well as local ones).. for the money it costs me i bet there are stuff i could use and don't know about!
