Hi,

My wife and I had award business seats KUL-PEK-EWR-BOS for late Dec.

The KUL-PEK leg is operated by CA and the rest is UA. I just noticed in my UA account that they dropped the KUL-PEK leg in our reservation. I went on the air china website and I can't book a KUL-PEK leg in December. It seems you can't book this leg pass October. I can't find any news on this. Do any of you know if CA did drop this leg or is this a mistake? Should I wait or have UA get me to PEK another way? I'd appreciate any guidance.

Air China indeed has cancelled PEK-KUL from Oct 9 onward.

Note when you call UA, remember that their contract with you is to get you to BOS, not to PEK. There may be other connections available that don't go through PEK, so be sure they look for those too.
