Quick question - does the DirecTV entertainment system accept Visa gift cards as payment?

As long as its got a Visa logo and black strip it works. You'll eventually have to learn the secret card to use to never pay for it again.

For one time payments yes, for setting up reoccurring payments I don't believe so.
