Thinking of heading down for a late summer holiday with my wife. Any suggestions on which is a better property and experience?

Thanks.

I've stayed at both, and the good news is that both offer incredible accommodations and service. You can't make a bad choice. Both require a little travel from major airports, palmetto bluff is a little more isolated. Any specific questions or areas of interest?

I have been to both. Let me know what you like to do and I will chime in. They are both great.

You will love it. What part of the resort did you book your room in?

They have tons of activities--Golf, Tennis, Shooting etc

The flagship restaurant called the Georgian Room at the Cloister is excellent. We have had less luck with the steak house at the Lodge. Make sure you make it to bingo one night. That is an old and fun Sea Island tradition. It feels like a leap back in time.

Hi Hotelsforlife - I've stayed in both resorts. Which room did you decide to go with at Sea Island? Is it a romantic getaway with your wife? They are both amazing hotels, just very different, too!
