KLM has a Facebook/Twitter promo running until monday morning.
They have selected three cities: JFK, ORD, YVR. Every time somebody "likes" the price on Facebook or Twitter, they lower the booking price. Booking the fare with the final (lowest price) is at/from August 13.
The fine print, of course, mentions that there is a bottom limit though. Which is not mentioned, nor did KLM respond to my question on the subject. Other conditions are unknown, like travel period, partners allowed, and so on.
Anyway, currently the roundtrip prices are as follows. My gut says they are not that much lower (yet) than regular deep-discount prices:
AMS-NYC €733
AMS-ORD €782
AMS-YVR €840
Every vote brings down the price for everybody by a few cents. It will need a whole lot of votes in order to become something truly interesting ;)
