Practical Travel Safety Issues - Global entry enrollment office at PHL

Have any of you been to the Global Entry enrollment office at PHL? Can you fill me in on how to get there -- and more importantly, how easy it is to get to? Is it inside or outside security?
The instructions describe it as being on the 3rd floor of the international arrivals hall. But they're not very clear on how to get there, and don't say anything about security. I'm sure I can find it, but I'm wondering how far in advance I'll need to arrive. And I'm not flying the same day as my interview, so I'm hoping that the office is outside security.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Here is a map of the enrollment center's location in PHL:

While it isn't very clear, there does appear to be a passageway from landside to the office that allows you to avoid the sterile FIS area.

Yep, I've been there. Start at the baggage level, go upstairs, and it is a winding walk through several corridors. But it is outside security. As I recall when I went there a few months ago, there were signs along the way (on stanchions) that reassured you that you were going the right way. It is basically where you would wait for passengers coming out of customs and immigration.

Excellent -- thanks very much, both of you (and particularly phillychuck).

I just got back from my appointment. The office is outside security, but it's not that easy to find (even with the instructions on how to get there, I had to ask for directions).
One tip for those going in the future: the hardest part of finding the office was finding the elevator to the third floor (where the office is). If you park in the terminal A west garage, the elevator is just inside the door from the garage -- don't go over the bridge to the main part of the terminal.

I have my appointment in the PHL office in two weeks. I'm flying out the same day on UA. Is it possible to drop my bags and check in on UA, then walk to the international terminal for my interview? Not sure how far it is. Thanks

I'm going to go to the office and see if they will do my interview as a drop in as I'm flying out of PHL this week and will be away for a month. If the say no, I'll just have to book then reschedule until I can get there.
Does anyone know how to get to the office from A West check in area?
