Hi I was approved for the Chase SW Preferred card for 50,000 points last July. Cancelled it last month because I didn't want to pay for the annual fee. Is it too soon for me to apply for the Business card or the Plus card? I currently don't have any Chase cards. Thanks

You're safe to apply any cards (besides the same card) right now. It's almost a year later. A lot of FT'ers apply for cards every 3 months.

Thanks for the quick reply. So it wouldn't be too soon even though I cancelled my personal card on 7/21?
Also, what is the difference between the Plus and Premier card? Is it the 6,000 vs 3,000 points anniversary and the $99 vs $69 annual fee? If that's the difference, then I have the Premier card.
If you were me, would you apply for the Personal Plus card or the Business Plus?
Thanks!

No, it would not be too soon. If your speaking of the SW cards the difference is the annual fee. Both fees are NOT waived. The bonus miles for the premier at the annual anniversary are greater with the Premier card.
It all depends on if you want to keep the card or not. If you don't want to keep any of the cards, it doesn't really matter which one you get. If you were going to keep a card I would get the Premier card. No foreign transaction fees, 6000 bonus points. Read this article to see the cost basis analysis between the two cards.
