Could someone direct me or this thread to the area where you find which routes NH has their newest F suites? I didnt find success with a search and I'm not sure how accurate seatguru, etc is anymore.

Thanks for the help and patience.

It's in armagebedar's very useful ANA master thread - the list of aircraft here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/18705497-post3.html) is still current.

The new F is on 777-300ER with IOJ (Inspiration of Japan) interiors.

Curious - is there a reason why they are not installing this seat on their long-haul 787 configurations? Are they phasing out what remains of their international F service? Or is the 777 meant to remain their flagship aircraft?

We can really only speculate, but my guess is that there isn't a market on all routes for a $20,000 round trip ticket. In particular, the 787 is intended to fly more frequently to smaller markets (such as SEA, DEN) where the number of people willing to pay F fares is further reduced.

I'd expect they will continue their F class service (unlike UA which I see dropping it because they do a bad job of it) in markets where it sells well on their flagship product (77W) such as LAX, SFO, JFK and ORD in the US. I'm sure they will continue service to Europe also, but I'm not as familiar with that market.

Yeah, I guess not having been on one yet, its easy to forget how small the 787 is relative to the 777.
