United MileagePlus (Consolidated) - united.com not processing credit cards?

Hi,
I can't purchase my ticket and called chase, the csr said currently the united website is not processing credit cards from any issuer. IF so that's pretty crazy. Anyone getting things issued or is this just a chase thing? My purchase isn't urgent so no big deal, but I'm just curious how badly things are messed up.

I have the same problem this evening.

UA is refusing to accept my money. :confused:

Also can't get through to the 1K Desk or MP customer service. Wonder if the issue is related.

Maybe someone tried to use SHARES to pay the credit card processor? :-p

I see it. They forgot the colon in the 43rd position. That crashed SHARES. That's why it won't take cards any more. Now, they need to open a case to the outsourced team that runs it, ask for a fix, schedule a meeting to triage it, then schedule a meeting to prioritize and rank it, then schedule a meeting to approve it, then schedule a meeting to get a project manager to project manage it, then launch the project. Could take a few months.
