If you've been in Thailand even just once you'd understand @:-)
My personal rating would be funny, not necessarily hilarious.
Then again, what do I know, I've only been there a dozen times or so.

Everyone's aware of the woman's weightlifter. The other picture is a ladyboy who got into the news when a famous actor made a play at her. At least that's her side of the story.
These are, ahem, 'newsworthy' people so to speak, and that certainly adds to the humor contained within.
There is an inside aspect to the humor.
My personal rating would be funny, not necessarily hilarious.

It's just people like you or me and perfectly normal. Or should I consider the average western male wearing bathshorts because fearing speedos pulling behind him his wife and children on the beach funny (or sad :D) ?
