Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - Service fees by TG Ticket Office in SIN

Just saw this today :

Service Fee of SGD 250 (US$ 200) on:
*Star Alliance Tickets - New booking or issuance of new ticket
*Reissue / Rerouting of Round the World ticket
*Reissue / Rerouting of Star Pass
*New booking or issuance of new ticket

The service fee is in addition to the reissue / rerouting charges of USD 125 as stipulated in the Round The World Fare Rules.

That means if you have an existing RTW ticket that needs reissuing, TG will charge you US$ 125 imposed by the ticket AND their service fee !

Only 2 service staffs now down from 4. Not sure if they retreched pople. I did not see the girl who I know on my last 3 visit this week

only the singapore office has this charge?

This is a complete rip off, in my opinion. However, if they allow all these transactions to be made by phone without service fee, then I can accept that. Wonder if it's because they understaff (intentionally) or simply taking advantage of customers at the airport for not having any other option.

It is kind of obvious that TG wishes to no longer handle these type of items from this office and this is their way of kindly asking people to use a TA.
