This is probably a no but I'm a *G flying in Y on Copa SDQ-PTY-ORD and I was wondering if there was a Star Gold lounge at SDQ. Thanks in advance.

I don't believe there are any *A lounges at SDQ. There might be an independent lounge that CM has a contract with but hard to know. IB has a lounge, I believe.

There indeed is lounge.

I would check what it says when you put Y in as class of travel

It actually said I wasn't eligible. I wonder what that means?

I was looking at the Copa website and their club access includes all *A Gold and all UC members. I think you will get access.

The following passengers have access to our Copa Clubs:

Business Class passengers and/or MileagePlus Premier 1K, Platinum and Gold members traveling in Copa Airlines.
Star Alliance Gold status passengers on international flights with Star Alliance member airlines.
Passengers traveling in Business Class or in First Class on international flights with Star Alliance member airlines.
United Club members
Passengers who have daily passes
Priority Pass cardholders **
Lounge Pass cardholders
Club Acela cardholders
KLM passengers traveling in Business Class ***
KLM passengers who are Flying Blue members with Flying Blue Platinum and Gold Elite Plus ***

This applies to all Copa Club locations (from the same page).

Through an alliance in Latin America, Copa Airlines and United provide you with exclusive access to three Copa Clubs; one in the Hub of the Americas in Panama, the second in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, and the third in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Probably that *A didn't update their systems to reflect that CM is now a full member. ;)

Maybe they get their web development done by UA
