Does anyone know why when you make a pull eft payment with Amex website it can not handle over $100,000.00 USD? You are allowed to enter an amount greater than a $100,000.00usd but Amex always breaks it up and posts multiple payments of $99,999.99+ other payments.

It's been a minor annoyance for years...
My "online" payments are broken up into $99,999.99 when the ACH transactions hit your account. It's annoying for accounting purposes but meh, something I've personally learned to live with. It's that or mail em a check...a bigger "minor" annoyance

It's been this way forever. I was hoping that with the recent site redesign, they'd have fixed that.

Why? Do you enjoy accounting inconveniences?
These are more than likely business expenses.

Hey, if this is a business that has $100k+ in expenses in a billing cycle, I'm guessing that other key other numbers (like net profit) may also be impressive! :)

I always just break it up for accounting purposes because I know it'll do it every time. First few times was frustrating. Now I just factor it in when I make the payment.
