I am a student and have no special membership and will be travelling economy class. My flight lands at JFK terminal 7 at abt 11 pm and I have my next flight schedule for next afternoon 2.45 at terminal 8. I would be travelling by british airways and will have a lot of luggage. Could please suggest the most viable and economical option? as in among the lounges? or whether to go for lockers? ASAP.

Most lounges at JFK close during off hours. E.g. BA may not open early am but I can't say.

Advise are you inbound international and outbound domestic? Your best bet is have your bags transferred upon landing via airline interline. This gives you more opportunity to be mobile.

This should be moved to NYC forum for more local responses/opinions.

Welcome to FlyerTalk.

We'll send this to the New York City Forum for further input, rather than leave it to languish in the Central America Forum.

When you arrive at JFK, you will have to retrieve your luggage after you process immigration, process U S CUstoms and then turn in your baggage at the counters just after Customs so your bags can be loaded on your next flight, provceed to Terminal 8 and pass through security to airside.

Terminal 8 is mostly American Airlines country - you could purchase a day pass to the Admirals Clubs (concourse B near Gate 12, daily 5:15 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.; Concourse C near Gate 42, daily 5:15 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.) A 1 day pass is $50, a thirty day Admirals Club membership is $99; they can be arranged for online or at the Club itself. The lounges both offer showers, WiFi, etc. and food for purchase.

Here (http://www.ifly.com/john-f-kennedy-international-airport/JFK-Terminal-8)is a basic map and list of landside and airside service providers, lounges, etc. at JFK Terminal 8.

You might want to consider a nearby hotel, and you are not likely to have to use lockers or the like for your baggage (as you can recheck it in as mentioned above).
