In KLM's winter schedule the route TPE-MNL will be serviced with a 777-300ER instead of the 777-200ER three times a week.
As far as I know there were six 777-200ER's re-painted as KLM Asia last year and there are still some 747's with KLM Asia paint flying around. I am wondering if they are going to re-paint some 777-300ER's as well. Any info on this?
Btw: The reason for this, is that it allows KLM to fly over China to Taiwan, which makes the routing much shorter than all the way via Bangkok.
I don't get it, but that is politics...
