On 3 oct 2012 we fly for our honeymoon BRU - DOH and DOH-SIN-DPS in J-Class (Z-class or Business) and hope it will be a great experience.
But on pictures I see that Qatar put an extra mattress on the flattbed for long hall flight.
Do we have this on or trip DOH - DPS ?
Is there special treatment for honeymoon couples ?
I never saw any mattress in J, but you should be able to sleep well...
In business they have a very nice service, but I doubt they will be ready for anything special. You can tell them when they come to introduce themselves, and they will probably ensure you get more champagne, not sure what else they could do for you...

A double bed with a sound proof curtain around it would be appropriate.

We will enjoy the champagne on the flight :) They could pick us up at the plane with a BMW to bring us to the terminal ;)

I am flying on the same route in October as well as LHR-DOH on 777. I believe they only use those mattresses on real long-haul flights. As DOH-DPS is actually less than 8 hours until the stopover in SIN and then another 2:30hrs only.
Anyone been on that route and may be able to confirm this?
Thanks

I don't believe what one is seeing in that picture is a mattress, but instead a duvet (ie, it's the blanket that covers over the pax not under). Haven't flown QR for a few years so can't say 100% tho.

These are mattreses, I have used them on flights to the US. When you request them from the cabin crew they will turn down your seat and set up the mattresses. I don't know if they will available on your flight to DPS.
Will ask and try the matress in 2 weeks for DOH-MNL (9hrs flight)
