Qatar Airways Privilege Club - QR F Availability to UA

It seems since it was announced the UA/QR partnership was ending, the F space has evaporated. Alex, can you confirm whether you're still offering the inventory to UA? I'm curious if they're not showing it or it's simply not available.

In terms of redemption seats, availability still shows, but it is only until 14th September, 2012. After this date, seats for redemption will no longer be seen.

I booked a FC ticket via UA, and 1 segment is on QR, but it says that first is sold out, so I get Biz on that segment. Is there a way to waitlist my name for FC in case it becomes open within the next 2 weeks? I would just be frustrated if I paid for FC for all segments, get on the QR flight, and see open FC seats. Thanks in advance!

Most QR flights only have business class and not first, so it may be that it just doesn't exist. Most people will say that QR business class is better than first class on most carriers, so I think you can feel good about getting the biz space and not feel like you got gipped at all. Let us know though. I've got a big trip on QR in 2 weeks in biz.....IAH-DOH-DPS / NRT-DOH-IAH. Looking forward to it!

I agree about the reviews for biz class, but DOH-LHR is a 3 cabin flight. Row 10 is the first row in Biz, and that's where I picked. I just wish that if F is not full we could sit there. Call QR and they said its sold out now for award space, but I can check later. Aka, there's seats still available, just not on award inventory.

My flight is in about 10 days, so I'll keep checking until then.
