bmi diamond club - BMI awards on SQ...requests not possible

When checking on SQ webpage on awards booked using BMI awards, note that you will most likely be unable to complete the requests as now our BMI numbers are no longer recognised by SQ's system as a 'valid' FFP programme - even though you're just using points for the booking.

You may access the SQ booking using the SQ PNR found on CMT. The old codes work on SQ's website, and they'll give you the new codes as well. But you will find out that after you request meals etc, you cannot end the transaction due to 'FFP not recognised' .

You have to call SQ up and ask them to remove BD's number on the SQ res before you can go ahead and make requests on them.

Looks like it is something to do with the SQ reservations system migration too though - as they say something about all redemptions made prior to 8 July needing to contact them to make changes

Good to see SQ is doing as good a job with the reservations system migration as it has done with the new website!

I still can pull my SQ bookings that are redeemed w BMI Diamond Club, with both the BMI Amadeus number and SQ reference.

I can still make seat selections but not meal selections. :mad:

my SQ redemptions are still there and I hope to enjoy the C on 380

i m happy even if i don t get any preffered seats as all of them are pretty cool
